Auberge Du Soleil

Stevens Concrete, Inc., is privileged to have been connected with Auberge from the beginning when the restaurant portion was first constructed in 1979-1980 under the direction of Glen Built Construction. In the late 1990's a couple of new maisons or cottages were added under the direction of Frank Borges, Jr., General Contracting, followed by updates and expansions to the exercise facilities. In late 2000, the 7,000 square foot luxury spa center was opened.

Courtyard fountain: Diners at Auberge Du Soleil can relax on the open air terrace next to the goblet shaped water feature with inverted calloped corners and offset planters. The paito is three-eighths inch pea gravel washed aggregate finish with inlaid redwood dividers.

A warm fire greets visitors in the lobby of the spa building during the winter months. During the summer the cantilevered hearth is large enough to serve as a bench. It was cast in place with integral color and all surfaces were hard troweled the same day.

Inlaid wood creates an earthy contrast to the colored concrete floors in the spa building.

A gently curving sidewalk serpentines through the grounds. The wood hand rail and concrete curbs complete the ADA wheelchair ramp.

A large reflecting pond featuring three basin fountains, anchors the center of the courtyard in the spa building. The couryard patio features washed aggregate squares bordered by 12 inch broom finished bands. The bands continues the pattern from inside the building.

The view of the valley as seen from the infinity edge spa. The spa: cast-in-place coping in abroom finish, creates a visual contrast between the pool decking done in pea-gravel washed aggregate finish.

Relax and enjoy the warm sunlignt in this outdoor bath and shower in one of the private tratment rooms. Poured concrete walls encapuslate the custom bath; the edge is finished with glazed tile.
